Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC), New Delhi has launched a concept of “Digital Lounge”. Under this, the Savitribai Phule Pune University has entered a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEC, New Delhi. As a part of the MoU, CEC will provide content developed by all 21 EMMRCs across India. This content will be available to under graduate students in off-line mode. The Content includes e-Content Courseware for 89 under graduate courses, more than 44,000 enrichment video programmes and more than 12,000 short learning objects. The “Digital Lounge” is being set up at the Jaykar Library shortly by the University with the help of EMMRC, Pune.
